Prelude:
Greetings to our Spiritual Community who have supported the teachings of don Oscar Miro-Quesada over the years, or may have had the experience of attending one of his workshops in the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition. ...now is the time of year where we begin to 'reap what we sow'. It is a special time where 'we harvest', the seeds we have planted, nurtured, and taken care of in this season.
May we all join together in our own Communities and feed our Mesas and Apachetas and Spiritual 'selves'. May we come together for Fall Equinox at our Mesas. As we prepare for Winter - introspection we share the December 28 - January 1 Invitation from don Oscar Miro-Quesada....
"The Pachakuti Mesa Tradition: A game worth playing!
Cherished companions of the cosmos, The Quechua term, 'Pujllay Kawsay,' literally means Game of Life. It is a win-win game in which transformation need not be a "heavy trip." Simply understanding life as a sacred gift is ample cause for celebration, and who we play with makes all the difference in the world. The companions we choose are mirrors who reflect either our fear or our love, hence reflecting such internal states in the outside world that we live. As we increasingly re-Member ourselves as a earth-honoring shamanic global family we heal the world through the awakening of consciousness. We accept that by opening our heart to universal love, we cleanse the mind of all False Evidence Appearing Real (FEAR), which is a prerequisite to healing ourselves and our Earth, and ultimately the survival of our species. Pujllay Kawsay is all about wisely embracing our human purpose on Earth as the embodiment of LOVE. The rules of the game are the laws of Nature, already in place since the beginning of time. Awakened by this realization we add only one requirement: the yearning for Wholeness. To be whole is to experience oneself as 'enough,' gratefully at peace in the perfection of the Present Moment. To Be-Here-Now with a fully open heart is the greatest medicine for transcending the illusion of separation at the root of all human problems. I trust this gentle reminder to play life as a sacred game is sweetly savored through the eternity within your soul. Infinite blessings, Oscar "
