Growing Corn and Potatoes
My cherished tribe,
Call it what you may: the Elixir, the Red Lion, the Philosophers Stone, the Great Work, etc. The alchemical rendering of Pachakuti Mesa Tradition shamanism has taken root in the world. I stand in awe and deep thanksgiving of the extraordinary welcoming received by Lessons In Courage: Peruvian Shamanic Wisdom for Everyday Life, my first book co-authored with our beloved sister Bonnie Glass-Coffin, Ph.D. This openly candid sharing of a handful of pivotal life events that catapulted my medicine path into existence has humbled me to the core, for it represents a long dreamt of completion of personal purpose. I remain forever grateful to the sacred dance of becoming and emergence so generously sustained through your heartfelt re-Membering as a Pachakuti Mesa Tradition tribe upon Pachamama. Without such sustenance the earthly beauty, spiritual grace and transformational healing power of our shared lineage would have remained but a dream, yet because of the lesson in courage that is each of your lives, it is now an exquisite offering of corn and potatoes. Each and every one of you are a fulfillment of the timeless dreaming held in the heart and soul of our Shining Ones-you are the light that makes possible a living of ancestral prophecy on Earth. May the blessing of our love and service continue to seed the emergence of a compassionate, peaceful shamanic planetary culture within the ever now.
In wholeness, don Oscar
